“I wish to visit a dude ranch.”
In 2002, Make-A-Wish granted my wish to go to a Colorado dude ranch. A week spent riding horses in the mountains was a taste of heaven to my tired soul and gave me the extra strength I needed to battle the final stages of cancer. This painting was inspired by the strength of fellow cancer patients as well as the beautiful Colorado landscape which created forever memories for my family. My wish set the foundation for the person I am today.
