After 35 Years, a Fond Farewell.
For nearly 35 years, since November of 1991, it has been our privilege to bring our products to you. From the very first Cheese Straws that emerged from our mother’s kitchen to the thousands of packages we produce daily, our family has worked to offer you the highest quality products and the best service we can.
The Journey That Brought Us Here
Packaging and selling her cheese straws was our mother’s “retirement” project and she approached me and my brother to help her make it a reality. We had no grand business plan, just an idea and the willingness to try, and in our case, the energy and exuberance of youth to see if the idea would “work”. The rest is history, as they say.
We want to thank you for your faithful business and the confidence you have placed in us these many years, and from our family to yours, we wish you every success and happiness.

Mother exited the business after only a few years, into a much-deserved actual retirement, filled with family, travel, and the pursuit of her many interests. Blessed with a long and remarkable life Mother passed away in 2024 just shy of her 97th birthday.
It’s hard to believe but we are now older than Mother was when we undertook this project, having dedicated our entire working lives to the business.
Full Circle and a Grateful Goodbye
For the last few years, we have given thought to our future, and the future of the company we’ve built. We are now in our mid 60’s and it’s time to embrace the next chapter of our lives.
We are proud of the company, and the happiness we’ve brought to the people that have enjoyed our products for decades, and this legacy is important to us. For this reason, we decided against selling the business, preferring to come full circle and let this long journey end on a prosperous note, and become a happy memory.
So, we are retiring. Happy times with our children, grandchildren, some travel, or just a long-delayed rest are on the agenda.
